應浙江大學應用力學研究所的邀請,世界上最大的醫療器械公司美國Medtronic公司高級主管可靠性工程師蔣鳴曉博士來我院應力所訪問,并作了兩場與可靠性分析相關的學術報告。
可靠性分析在現代工程和其他領域中扮演著重要的作用。例如,人們在使用功能越來越多的電子產品時,總想知道能用多久,總期望可以盡量地延長使用壽命,而這與電子產品的設計、制造以及使用等密切相關,可以通過可靠性分析加以估算確定。
8月16日,蔣鳴曉博士參加了在浙大玉泉校區邵逸夫科學館舉辦的“固體力學及其應用學術研討會”,并作了題為“Reliability of a piezoelectric micro-actuator”的學術報告,分析了硬盤壓電微驅動器的失效因素,結合加速壽命測試方法,討論了可靠性分析的原理,給出了具體的分析步驟,并進行了壽命預測和和驗證。
8月17日,蔣鳴曉博士在浙江大學玉泉校區教12-118會議室面向應力所的師生作了題為“Reliability Assessments with Engineering Applications”的學術報告。以脊柱損傷治療中連接導線為例,運用可靠性分析方法,分析了兩種不同結構(低電阻和高電阻)的優缺點,為最終確定結構設計提供了重要的參考。
報告吸引了眾多老師和同學參與,引起了熱烈的討論。
在訪問期間,蔣博士還和我校控制系、土木系和生醫系的老師進行了交流,期望從多學科角度推進我校可靠性工程方向的科學研究和學生培養。
附:報告人簡介
Dr Jiang obtained a BS degree in Engineering Mechanics from Zhejiang University (1991), MS in Reliability Engineering from University of Arizona (1997) and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech (2000). He is currently working as a Senior Principal Reliability Engineer at Medtronic Inc. He is a Certified Reliability Engineer, a senior member of ASQ and a senior member of IEEE. He has 3 US patents and over 30 publications in referred journals and conference proceedings. Dr Jiang has been the President of SRE Minnesota Chapter, a Vice Chair for organization RAMS®, and multiple international reliability conferences, for which he has been organizing more than ten technical sessions. Mingxiao has been serving on the Editorial Review Boards for Reliability Review and Quality Engineering.

蔣鳴曉博士在作學術報告
